About our organization
Established in 1919, CFUW is a non-partisan, voluntary, self-funded national organization with close to 100 Clubs. In 2020, CFUW Perth and District Club is celebrating its 50th year of good fellowship, advocacy and community service. Friendships are quickly formed through interest groups ranging from bridge to book clubs, hiking, languages and cuisine.
Fundraising efforts such as the annual Heritage Perth Christmas House Tour have raised over $225,000 in support of advanced education for local women as well as literacy and other educational initiatives in regional schools and libraries. Community service is achieved through committees such as Education, Literacy and the Arts, Environment and Social Justice. To further lifelong learning, there are invited speakers to address topics of public interest. Join us and you will come away with a more active social life and stronger ties to your community.

We had wonderful weather for our Education Awards ceremony and enjoyed delicious finger foods provided by members. The recipients and club members were all smiles!
